Total Time: 10 min

Total Servings: 12

Serving Size: 1 square (Approximately 2×2 inches)

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of cannabutter (45mL)
  • 5 cups (1250 mL) mini marshmallows
  • 6 1/2 cups (832 g) rice crispy cereal
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) vanilla (optional)

Pro Tip: For thin squares, use a 9×13 pan. For thicker squares, select an 8×8 pan.

How To Make:

Step 1: Prep the pan *

Spray you’r pan the the cooking utensils with cooking spay before you start cooking: Melted marshmallows are sticky. Spraying your tools and pan make for easy clean up. Melting the butter first helps coat the pan and prevents marshmallows from sticking.

Step 2: Melt the cannabutterhttps://recipes.laurieandmaryjane.com/lauries-famous-canna-butter/

Over medium-low heat melt the butter in a pot. Then, add the marshmallows, and stir well to coat them entirely. Continue stirring until all of the marshmallows have melted. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Add in rice crispy cereal

Add the cereal to the melted marshmallow/butter mixture, stirring well to ensure coverage. Scrape the mixture into a prepared pan. *Spray your spatula with non-stick cooking spray* and then use it to press down on your rice crispy treats to flatten.

Step 4: Let them rest

Set the pan aside to fully cool. As it cools the squares firm up a bit making it easier to cut

Enjoy!
